I’m the person behind this blog, and I’m delighted you’re here.

I was born and raised in Northeast India—a region known for its breathtaking landscapes, diverse cultures, rich traditions, and warm hospitality. Growing up here has given me the opportunity to experience many of the things that make this part of India so unique. From local festivals and traditional cuisines to scenic destinations and everyday stories, I’ve always been surrounded by experiences worth sharing.

I’m not a full-time traveler, nor do I claim to have visited every corner of Northeast India. But I genuinely enjoy traveling whenever I can, exploring new places, learning about different cultures, trying local food, and understanding the history and traditions that shape each destination. Every journey teaches me something new, and that’s what inspired me to create IndeTrails.

IndeTrails isn’t a company. It’s not a media brand with a team behind it. It’s just me, writing about what I actually know. This is a personal travel blog where I share my knowledge, experiences, research, and perspective on Northeast India. My articles are written to help travellers discover the region while also introducing readers to its culture, heritage, food, traditions, stories and lesser-known destinations. Some stories are inspired by my own experiences, while others are based on careful research and reliable sources to ensure the information is as accurate and helpful as possible.
